Dutch players rule Stratego World Championships 2010

From August 13 to 15 the Stratego World Championships have been held in Maastricht, The Netherlands. With six victories and four draws Pim Niemeijer from The Netherlands became the new individual Stratego World Champion. After his previous victory in Kiev (2008) he reconquered the title from Steffen Annies(GER), the Stratego World Champion of 2009.

The four best performing players of each country in the individual WC were invited to represent their country in the Country Team WC as well. The Netherlands gained the world title, Germany became second, England third.
